I’VE NEVER DONE PILATES, WHERE DO I START?

If you’re completely new to Pilates and Reformer, we recommend either attending our Fundamentals or Tech GRC Class (where you’ll learn all the important alignment and engagement essentials plus the classic reformer exercises) or any of our Open GRC classes follow the level one options given.. although be sure to tell your instructor it’s your first class either way.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

It’s best to wear comfortable clothes with plenty of give and stretch. Legging with a singlet is popular with our female clients, and while it assists the instructor if you wear clothes that hug your body, it’s not essential.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

An open mind, willing heart, a bottle of water and small towel.

SHOULD I ARRIVE A LITTLE EARLY?

Absolutely. If it’s your first class, we want to meet you, show you the ropes and help you get settled before we get down to business! Plus for the Clubs (Newstead, Coorparoo, CBD) there is a quick pre-exercise questionnaire we need you to complete. 15 minutes is plenty 🙂

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

 You can expect to have a blast and feel the burn…in a positive way. We pride ourselves at Pure, on maximizing the results you get for the time you give us. We aren’t about wasting your time. We are committed to you gaining functional strength, improved body awareness, co-ordination, alignment, plus plenty of tone. Ultimately, our sessions will transform your body into it’s best shape ever!

IS THERE PARKING?

Parking varies between all our clubs, pods and studios… see below for where to park your ride, whilst you reform your rig.
Coorparoo : You can park under or in front of our building at 236 Old Cleveland Rd, or along Old Cleveland Rd or in any of the many side streets nearby. Many clients also park in Coles plentiful carpark (two doors up) and grab what they need from there before or after class 🙂
CBD: As with any city site, parking is limited to metered street parking or the various underground carparks around the City, the closet of which is the Myer Centre Carpark.
Newstead: You can park under or in front of our building on Doggett St or in any of the many side streets nearby.
Ashgrove: You can park behind our building on the top or bottom level of our carpark. Entry for both is off Trout St. Plus there is plenty of street parking on the surrounding streets.
Manly: There is plenty of parking onsite right in front of our studio at 190 Radford Rd in Wondall Village.
Everton Park: There is plenty of parking onsite right in front of our studio in the carpark we share with Active Life Fitness  plus much more on Chinook St.
Clayfield: There is parking available in front of our studio on Sandgate Rd.
