Nut Spread on Toast & Green Smoothie

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: Serves 1

Ingredients:

Toast:

  • 1 slice of dark rye bread, toasted
  • 1 heaped tablespoon nut spread of choice
  • 1⁄4 cup fresh berries

Smoothie:

  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1⁄2 cucumber
  • 1⁄4 cup fresh berries
  • 1⁄2 green apple
  • Squeeze of lemon
  • A little grated ginger
  • A few cups of ice

How to make it:

  • Spread nut butter on toast and sprinkle with fresh berries
  • Place all smoothie ingredients in a nutrinija, nutribullet or blender
  • Blend until desired consistency is reached
